Our website users now have a central place to access information about government events.
The Yukon.ca ‘events’ content type is used to communicate upcoming public events taking place in Yukon that the government is responsible for. All events listed are open to the public.
We expect this list will grow as departments add more events. Website users will be able to hone their search by using filters to search by Yukon community or any of the Yukon.ca categories. Users can further refine the list by a ‘starting from’ date.
We want people who use our website to have a consistent experience so they can find what they are looking for in one place. Right now users have to look through department websites to search for event information that is displayed in a variety of ways. With the new events content type, details about all public events hosted by the government will accessible in one place.
